Who is responsible for your information?

Richard James Solomon, trading as Solomon’s Business Systems, is the data controller for personal information handled through this website and in connection with consultancy enquiries and engagements.

Information we may collect

We may collect information you choose to provide when you contact us, including your name, organisation, role, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. If we work together, we may also process correspondence, contractual, billing and project information.

Privacy-conscious, first-party audience measurement records pages viewed, approximate sessions, landing and referral sources, broad country, device type, campaign tags and interactions such as outbound links and SBS BEYONDQUEST™ filters or detail views. It does not set analytics cookies or use browser storage. A keyed one-way code derived from network and browser information is used to estimate unique and returning use; the raw IP address and full browser identifier are not stored in the analytics database. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected where supplied.

The website’s hosting and security services may separately process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested and the time of a visit, to operate and protect the service.

Our lawful basis

Depending on the circumstances, we process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, because we have a legitimate business interest in responding to enquiries and operating and improving the business, because we must comply with a legal obligation, or because you have given consent.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with trusted providers that support website hosting, email, professional advice, accounting or business administration, and with public authorities where legally required. Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; where this happens, appropriate legal safeguards will be used.

How long we keep it

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting and professional obligations. Audience-measurement events are retained for up to 760 days to support annual comparison, then deleted. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement will be reviewed and deleted when there is no longer a reasonable business need to retain them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. These rights are subject to legal limits.

Cookies

SBS audience measurement does not set analytics cookies or use similar storage on your device. The site may use strictly necessary technology required for hosting, security and access control. We will ask for consent before introducing non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies where required.
